Introduction video

How to notify us when there seems to be an error in the data displayed?

Please notify us by using the “give us feedback on this infrastructure” button at the bottom of the CaptureMap page. It will send you to a GoogleForm pre-filled with the infrastructure ID where you can let us know about what needs to be corrected.

How to check where the transport and storage project data is coming from?

In the project box, click on the button “Show sources” button at the bottom-right corner. This will activate a pop-up displaying each link to a news article, press release, presentation or report mentioning the project, and which data we extracted from these sources. Note: the table contains repetitive data about each project since many of the sources repeat the same data.

Why are there so many blanks in the transport and storage project data table?

We only include information that can be traced back to a reliable source. When extracting data from various publications, reports, or announcements, we leave fields blank if certain details—like CO2 capacity or project timeline—are not mentioned in the original source. In other words, if we cannot find the information in a source, we leave it blank.

This approach ensures transparency and data integrity – in short, we think it helps to build trust. Over time, as we crowdsource information from multiple sources, these gaps are often filled in by complementary details from other references. Taken together, the result is a more complete, timestamped overview of the project(s) at each site.

How to get more data about companies owning the project displayed?

This feature is currently under development but will be released shortly.

Click on the “Show details” button on the “companies involved” box to display the data available about companies involved.

Note that the company data may be out of date due to delays between merger and acquisitions or corporate restructuring and when these changes are reflected in the source data.
